You are sharing a query layer from a cloud data warehouse as a map image layer. Creating a snapshot is not supported for your layer or table.
The <value> parameter refers to the layer or stand-alone table name.
The option to create a snapshot is only available for query layers added from the New Query Layer dialog box. It is not supported for the following:
- Query layers for tables accessed by adding or dragging it onto the map from a data warehouse connection
- Bin-enabled feature layers
- Query layers with parameters
Solutions
Do one of the following:
- If the query layer was added or dragged onto the map from a data warehouse connection, reauthor the query layer by adding it from the New Query Layer dialog box. See Create a query layer for data in a cloud data warehouse for more information.
- If creating a materialized view or accessing the data directly are acceptable alternatives to creating a snapshot, change the data source option.
Hover over the analyzer message. Click the Options button that appears and click Show Data Source Option. Under Data Source, click Create a materialized view or access data directly. With the Access data directly option, the service will reference the data stored in the database. To learn more about the data source options, see Configure a map image layer.
- If your map contains other query layers that support creating a snapshot, share the supported and unsupported layers as separate map image layers.
Select the layers in the Contents pane. Right-click any selected layer, point to Sharing, and click Share As Web Layer .
Tip:
Share one map image layer with a snapshot and the other with the option to create a materialized view or access data directly.
- If the query layer is not needed, remove it from the map.
